Develops and designs projects for the Department of Transportation, including pressure improvement, renewals, relocations, and new business.
Designs and sizes meter and regulator sets, ensuring over-pressure protection.
Collects and evaluates records to support uprating procedures.
Develops design options and provides guidance to improve the distribution system.
Provides support for field and construction operations as needed.
Designs work orders, including drafting, investigating land rights, and applying company specifications in compliance with federal codes and standards.
Manages design projects, tracking multiple components such as permitting, approval status, and construction progress.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution.
0-2 years of experience in civil or utilities design.
Preferred knowledge of AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil3D.
