Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate has proven ability to develop high-performance, scalable web applications, rapidly prototype concepts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and optimize application performance.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Convert design concepts and business requirements into responsive, user-friendly web experiences through rapid prototyping and implementation.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve JavaScript and CSS issues to ensure optimal application functionality and performance.

• Integrate front-end components with backend web services and APIs to deliver seamless end-to-end solutions.

• Create reusable code, establish development standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve usability and user experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8-10 years of experience in front-end and end-to-end web application development.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Web Components, StencilJS/Angular, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, and JSON.

• Proven experience building high-performance, scalable web applications, integrating web services, and working independently with minimal supervision

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
