Education and Experience:

The Engineer SR position requires 10+ years of related experience and an accredited bachelor’s degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Job responsibilities:

·       Include creating a safe work environment by putting safety firs

·       Understand the process used for planning, design, operation, construction, and maintenance

·       Understanding the functions and activities of various internal departments involved in design, construction, and maintenance,

·       Understanding design practices and work processes

·       Using all software applications used in design, understanding industry and the Company's design standards

·       Supporting design standard and criteria development for the system

·       Supporting construction and maintenance teams during day-to-day operations

·       Estimating material for projects

·       Transmitting construction packages and supporting specifications.

·       Responsible for applying engineering processes, design criteria, and software applications to design and construct power related systems.

·       Supports estimate preparation, develops design options, and prepares construction specifications.

·       Provide guidance, oversight, and quality assurance reviews for approved contractors as they develop design solutions, cost estimates, and construction packages.

·       Skillsets and expertise required for this position include

·       Advanced engineering knowledge

·       Advanced problem-solving skills

·       Discretion making independent decisions based on procedure

·       Advanced discipline software knowledge, strong work ethic

·       Positive attitude

·       The ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.

·       This position requires personal protective equipment

·       This position may require some bending, lifting, climbing, prolonged sitting, prolonged walking, walking on gravel or crawling when necessary.

** Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is looking for an experienced Engineer to fill a contract assignment in the Baxley, Ga area. This is estimated to last 11-month duration.

Per-dem rates are available.

PPE:

Hardhat, gloves, glasses, ear plugs, sturdy work shoes.

Successful candidates must provide their own safety shoes
