Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will conduct process validations and FMEA activities while driving quality improvements, ensuring compliance, and supporting cross-functional product development initiatives.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $43/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct process verifications/validations and execute FMEA for design and process risk assessment.

  • Perform product testing and ensure compliance with design control and quality system requirements.

  • Analyze data and drive root cause investigations to support continuous quality improvements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product development and implementation.

  • Ensure compliance with medical device regulations, including CAPA, nonconformance, and risk management processes.

  • Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T to support inspection, validation, and quality assurance activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Bioengineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in design quality engineering within the medical device industry.

  • Strong experience in process validation, FMEA (design/process), and design control within regulated environments.

  • Proven expertise in quality systems (CAPA, nonconformance, risk management) and ability to support cross-functional product development and compliance activities.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $43.00 per hour
