Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) project, ensuring successful implementation, compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

Rate Range: $34/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation and delivery of Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) project from project initiation through production launch.

• Manage project scope, schedules, risks, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with internal development teams, external software vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive project objectives.

• Ensure adherence to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and GxP-compliant software development practices.

• Facilitate Agile project management activities, including planning, tracking, status reporting, and issue resolution using tools such as JIRA.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and coordinate mitigation strategies to support timely and successful product releases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Healthcare Technology, Business, or a related field.

• 4-6 years of project management experience, preferably within medical device, healthcare, or regulated environments.

• Proven experience managing end-to-end projects, including Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) implementation, with strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.

• Experience working in GxP-regulated environments, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and utilizing project management tools such as JIRA to track project execution and delivery.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $41.00 per hour
