Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate is responsible for administering, integrating, and supporting enterprise authentication and access management solutions while enabling secure application modernization and SSO adoption.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Administer, maintain, and support the enterprise Okta Access Gateway (OAG) platform, ensuring secure and reliable access to business applications.

• Configure and onboard web, legacy, and on-premises applications into Okta Access Gateway using modern authentication and SSO solutions.

• Manage authentication, authorization, MFA, access policies, and identity federation technologies including SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, and Kerberos.

• Troubleshoot authentication, access, and application integration issues while providing Level 2 and Level 3 production support.

• Monitor platform health, performance, resiliency, and disaster recovery readiness to ensure high availability of IAM services.

• Collaborate with application owners, security teams, and stakeholders to support identity modernization initiatives and maintain compliance with security and audit requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Okta administration, and enterprise authentication solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Okta Access Gateway (OAG), Okta Workforce Identity, SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and application integrations.

• Proven experience supporting hybrid and cloud IAM environments, including application onboarding, identity modernization, authentication troubleshooting, and production support.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
