Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX/ Tampa, FL/ Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate with experience designing, developing, and testing secure decentralized applications and smart contracts.

Rate Range: $49/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain secure smart contracts using Solidity for blockchain-based applications and decentralized platforms.

• Build, test, and deploy smart contract solutions using Hardhat, Foundry, and modern development frameworks.

• Perform smart contract security assessments and vulnerability testing using tools such as Slither and Mythril.

• Write high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using JavaScript or TypeScript to support blockchain applications and integrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver reliable blockchain solutions.

• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies to ensure smart contract functionality, security, and performance in production environments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in blockchain development, smart contract development, or software engineering.

• Strong experience with Solidity, Hardhat, Foundry, and smart contract security testing tools such as Slither and Mythril.

• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, with strong development, testing, debugging, and secure coding practices for blockchain applications.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
