Description As a Data Engineer for Search and Social advertising, you will develop and deliver solutions that enable our agency teams to win in a very competitive marketplace. The right candidate will be somebody who is motivated to get it done, loves to continually learn and builds software utilizing modern technologies and strong engineering practices. Our team is looking for a high-performing Data Engineer who will be responsible for the development, implementation and on-going support of a data driven reporting platform. The candidate must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality and professionalism.

In addition, background in the following areas will significantly elevate the candidates ability to hit the ground running: • Strong understanding of media measurement and currency datasets • Cloud infrastructure and data processing technologies

Responsibilities Core Responsibilities: • Analyze business requirements and partner with product owners to build a scalable solution. • Integrate with 3rd party APIs for data consumption. • Work independently on data analysis and ETL design & development. • Collaborate across product teams to build solutions that achieve business objectives. • Follow best practices in data architecture and data processing. • Optimize and scale backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability. • Develop technical documentation for each solution. • Work on projects in an agile environment.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or its equivalent. • 3+ years experience creating scalable batch ETL pipelines. • Experience and thorough understanding of RESTful APIs is required (AdTech APIs preferred). • 3+ years knowledge and experience in Python, specifically extensive experience working with PySpark is required. • Experience with Databricks and Redshift would be preferred. • 3+ years experience with SQL and databases. • Experience with S3, EC2, CloudWatch, and Redshift connectivity or similar cloud services. • Comfortable with data warehousing concepts, preparing data, and configuring automated workflows. • Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as an analytical mindset. • Strong data analysis skills are required. • Experience connecting and merging disparate datasets and data formats (Delta, Parquet, JSON, XML). • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail. • Possess a desire to work for a fast-paced, results-based company.

Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with search engine marketing data such as Google Ads • Experience with social marketing data such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snap. • Experience with any digital marketing data including programmatic advertising (display, video), e-commerce, audience targeting

Compensation Range: $73,150.00 - $112,554.00 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.

Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
