Job Overview This position is responsible for leading, overseeing, and completing all engineering aspects of major capital projects related to the design, development, and execution of natural gas facilities. This position coordinates with project team members and third‑party contract resources to effectively oversee design related investments and improvements being made to the company's infrastructure. The Engineer is expected to work independently in completing their tasks as well as ensuring the tasks of other team members affecting design are on track; this includes, but is not limited to, Drafting, Land, Environmental, Contracts, Procurement, third‑party Engineering, and fabrication inspection. The Engineer is expected to use a variety of programs to track design progress, size equipment, order material, and report to management on significant variances in estimated budget and/or schedules. Design related tasks include, but are not limited to, pipeline, measurement, regulation, compression, storage, and other related gas transmission and gas storage equipment and facilities. The Engineer is expected to perform engineering tasks and projects by relying on established guidelines and specifications. Work experience and Company and industry training will familiarize employee with processes, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and policies of the Company, departments, and industry. May be assigned to structured training program designed to provide interdisciplinary experience.
