A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking a Digital Engineering (DE) Engineer to support Powertrain Unit projects at its Georgetown, KY facility, with a strong focus on production preparation for internal combustion engines, hybrid transmissions, axles, and other powertrain components. Using Autodesk CAD tools across 2D and 3D, you will create and revise product operation drawings and production line layouts in AutoCAD; perform 3D model comparisons and overlays; produce renderings and evaluations in Navisworks and Revit; run production line simulations; and evaluate point cloud scan data — improving the completeness and quality of process and equipment planning to reduce manufacturing cost and production-preparation lead time.

Qualifications
Qualifications
B.S. in Engineering (preferred), a Technical Degree in CAE, or 3+ years of CAE experience
Experience in project management (planning & time management, coordination, reporting)
Experience creating/interpreting product, process, and equipment drawings and models
Recent experience in 2D and 3D tools
Intermediate capability in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project)
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Preferred: Creo + point cloud utilization; powertrain assembly/machining; high volume automated production; manufacturing equipment & process specification
