Summary:

• Proposes solutions to in-service problems and ensures technical follow-up of issues identified by customers.

• Educates customers on maintenance practices for aerospace oxygen products.

• Leads and participates in technical reviews at customer sites and conferences.

• Identifies, quantifies, and reports major technical problems and participates in their resolution with design offices.

• Analyzes technical problems reported by customers, coordinates current situation, and presents fleet-wide issues.

• Leads root cause investigations, 8D process, and implements corrective actions for technical issues.

• Performs feedback analyses and supports operational reliability calculations for in-service products.

• Reports and analyzes topics related to flight safety and compliance with deadlines.

• Reads, analyzes, and interprets engineering drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly or test procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or repair position related to commercial or general aviation including design engineering, sustaining, technical support, or service engineering.

• Experience in mechanics, especially pneumatics, is preferred.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly or test procedures.

• Experience solving complex technical problems and working several issues in parallel.

• Experience providing technical presentations to customers.

• Ability to work unsupervised in a dynamic environment.

• Experience leading technical meetings and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to respond to customer inquiries and complaints regarding technical issues.
