Engineer II - ST:

 

  • Participate in developing technology solutions and strategy
  • Assist in designing, developing, and deploying platforms and applications
  • Contributes to design patterns and coding standards
  • Contributes to the identification, creation, socialization, adoption, and maintenance of library and shared code
  • Contributes to developer tool solutions, process definition, administration, and support
  • Participates in the design and implementation of security controls, and engineer to meet compliance controls
  • Ensures documentation is created
  • Contributes to automated unit and integration testing efforts, and helps with system and integration testing efforts 
  • Contributes to incident prevention, resolution, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Participate in elicitation activities and backlog grooming
  • Translate business requirements to functional, non-functional, and technical designs

 

Telecommuting permitted up to 100% from anywhere in the U.S.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Pay Range: $130,688 - $163,800 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in a software developer or related role.


Must have 2 years of experience in system administration, network administration, and systems engineering.


Must have 2 years of experience in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby.


Must have 2 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems and client-server architectures.


Must have 2 years of experience in implementing and managing high capacity, redundant, and mission critical environments.


Must have 2 years of experience with cloud computing platforms.


Must have 2 years of experience in running and maintaining a 24x7 production environment.


Must have 2 years of experience in developing web, app, or progressive web app that has user-facing front-end components, leveraging JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, or an equivalent front-end language/framework.


Must have 2 years of experience in at least one of the following: relational database management (PostgreSQL, SQL, or MySQL), or in NoSQL database management (Redis or MongoDB), or in cloud database management (Azure SQL database or Amazon DynamoDB).


Must have 2 years of experience supporting large applications leveraging modern enterprise-level security protocols, including certs, keys, tokens, and credentials.
