Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Engineer III to support the
performance monitoring and diagnostics of our renewable energy fleet,
including wind, solar, and emerging battery systems. This role is split
between ongoing monitoring of wind and solar assets, ensuring optimal
performance, reliability, compliance (with NERC GADS). and facilitating
monthly performance reviews with field technicians. The engineer will be
responsible for generation data integrity, ensuring all assets are
online and reporting accurately, and will play a key role in identifying
and resolving operational issues across the fleet. A quarter of the role
focuses on data analytics and innovation, leveraging tools like Canary
and Python to manipulate and report on system performance, particularly
for battery assets. Strong Python coding skills are a mandatory
requirement. The ideal candidate will have an engineering degree and
experience in renewable energy systems, though exceptional data analysts
with relevant experience may also be considered. This position requires
strong organizational skills, the ability to synthesize complex data,
and a proactive approach to fleet performance and compliance. What you

solutions for moderately complex problems. * For moderately complex
projects or issues, receives guidance from peers, and mentors and
provides guidance to less experienced personnel in making decisions on
less complex problems. * Frequently uses critical thinking skills and
sound technical understanding of standards to provide cost-effective
solutions to a specific problem. * Demonstrates an understanding of
customer and business needs and regularly develops and implements the
appropriate workable solution to problems based on given budgetary and
schedule constraints while appropriately applying policy and code
requirements. * Makes medium risk decisions that involve direct
application of technical knowledge with proper sign off from customer
and minimal guidance from supervisor. * Has established effective
working relationships with employees, contractors, customers, functional
groups, and internal and external peers. * Explains technical problems
to internal stakeholders and accurately prepares detailed documents such
as technical studies and project documentation for future reference. *
Understands procedure FIN 102 Purchasing of Materials and Services and
ensures correct use of procurement and payment tools to conduct
business. * Knows the property unit catalog and can differentiate and
provide classification between capital and maintenance projects in
accordance with the property unit catalog, applying the chart of
accounts. * Manages project budgets, including processes accruals and
communicates anticipated changes in the budget; has completed financial
reporting training and Utility Rate Making Concepts training. *
Supports Generation facility outages. * Engages in other duties as
