Description CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nations Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. CPH is seeking a talented Engineer III to join their dynamic waterwastewater team at our Orlando-Robinson location. Hiring bonus of up to $5,000 for candidate selected with PE license.
The Engineer III - WaterWastewater is responsible for leading the design development and the implementation of engineering projects. This role provides innovative solutions to solve any problems and it requires the design skills, time management, and experience to perform on a variety of WaterWastewater and general public facility. The Project Engineer has a strong understanding of engineering principles to deliver high quality standards to CPH clients.
Duties Include:
• Lead the design development and implementation of engineering solutions for projects. • Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation. • Monitor progress of projects and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper completion. • Leading design and preparation of plans, specifications, and calculations for pipeline lift station and WaterWastewater treatment system components. • Work with senior staff to identify potential project risks and develop modification strategies if needed. • Ensures that all aspects of the projects safety comply with regulations and quality standards. • Prepares and maintains project documentation, including reports, design changes, schedules, and status updates. • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and clients.
Required Skills and Abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and familiarity with Deltek Vision and Smartsheet or similar software platforms. • AutoCAD experience is a plus. • Ability to exercise critical thinking and good independent judgment. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects while adhering to project schedules and budgets. • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate project deadlines. • Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, reliable, and self-motivated.
Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Engineering, Civil or Environmental. 5-7 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of engineering principles in one or more of the following pipeline lift station, WaterWastewater treatment design. P.E. license.
