We're a growing, family-oriented civil engineering firm with more work than we can handle. Our team has built a reputation designing commercial developments, schools, luxury apartment communities, athletic facilities, and public infrastructure throughout the Kansas City metro. We believe in hands-on training, open collaboration, and investing in our people. If becoming a licensed Professional Engineer is your goal, we'll even pay for your EI exam and help you get there

Competitive Pay: Starting Salary of $75,000+ plus 5% Bonus

Your New Role

• \n
• Assist with planning, design, and construction documents for commercial and land development projects
• \n
• Work directly with experienced Professional Engineers on real-world engineering projects
• \n
• Design site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, roads, and parking lots
• \n
• Prepare engineering drawings and reports using AutoCAD
• \n
• Perform engineering calculations and assist with project planning
• \n
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and municipalities
• \n
• Gain hands-on experience from concept through construction while preparing for your PE license
• \n

What You Need to Succeed:

\n

• \n
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• \n
• Approximately 1+ year of AutoCAD drafting and design experience through school, internships, or work experience
• \n
• Desire to obtain your Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification and eventually your Professional Engineer license
• \n
• Strong communication and problem-solving skill
• \n
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment
