The Engineer (EIT) position is intended for a broad land development and public works professional, with experience across site civil design, permitting, and project delivery.Strong stormwater and hydrologic/hydraulic expertise is preferred to support cross-discipline projects, but the role is not limited to stormwater-only practice.We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related engineering disciplineEngineering-in-Training (EIT) certification or have the ability to obtain within a year of employment4 yearsof relevant land development engineering experience in the following areas: Private-sector commercial, residential, and mixed-use land developmentPreparing engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittalsWorking within small to mid-sized design teamsProviding land development engineering services in TexasKnowledgeable of stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standardsPractical application of various software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Hydraflow Express, Bentley storm suites and other common hydrologic/hydraulic modeling toolsMust possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travelPreferred QualificationsCentralTexas market experience, particularly the San Antonio and Austin regionsFamiliaritywith local and state permitting agencies and development regulationsExperience onprivate site development and public works projects, including street, drainage, and utility design, as stand-alone assignments or as part of multidisciplinary project teamsAdditional InformationCompensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise.
