This position offers mentorship from licensed engineers and excellent preparation for a career in civil site design.Responsibilities Contribute to pre-construction design, planning, and permittingUtilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS to produce deliverablesDraft design plans and create project documentationConduct site visits and field observations under supervisionPerform routine calculations for drainage, grading, and utilitiesPrepare reports, maps, and submittal packagesReview plans for compliance with regulationsAttend client meetings and project coordination callsCollaborate with multidisciplinary design teamsRequirements Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program (junior or senior standing preferred)Strong academic recordSolid understanding of civil engineering fundamentalsProficiency with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesDetail-oriented with good organizational skillsAbility to work in office and field environmentsValid driver's licenseAvailable to work full-time during summer and/or part-time during school yearPreferred Qualifications Previous internship or co-op experience in civil engineeringFamiliarity with hydrology, hydraulics, or geotechnical principlesKnowledge of local design standards and regulationsExperience with stormwater modeling or analysis software#J-18808-Ljbffr
