Overview:

Pembina Pipeline is actively hiring multiple Interns to join our team in the Channahon office for a 3-4-month contract. These roles report to the Supervisor, Process & Contact Engineering and the Supervisor, Labs, part of Pembina's Operations and Operations Engineering Divisions.

Please note that these are 3-4 month intern positions starting in May 2027 at the Channahon, IL plant.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

• Support process and contact engineers and the lab team at the Channahon plant with day-to-day activities, including process-related engineering work, documentation, coordination, and follow-up;
• Run samples on gas chromatographs (GCs), calibrate laboratory instruments, and assist with equipment checks, following established lab procedures, safety requirements, and quality practices;
• Document sample results, observations, and routine activities accurately and in a timely manner, and assist team members with troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities;
• Collaborate with plant, engineering, and lab teams to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations;
• Support Pembina's safety culture of "Zero by Choice" by caring for yourself and others and following Pembina's Life Saving Rules at all times;
• Demonstrate Pembina's values by working in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial, recognizing that how results are achieved matters; and
• Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by being gracious, kind, respectful, and working effectively with others.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to school in the fall following the end of the work term;
• Ability to commit to the full 3-4-month contract term and required schedule;
• Field of study aligned with, or providing relevant transferable skills for, the role applied for; preference will be given to students enrolled in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related program; and students enrolled in a STEM-related program.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a structured environment, aligned with Pembina's values and safety expectations; and
• At the end of the internship term, you will be asked to complete a learning project and deliver a presentation summarizing your experience, key learnings, and contributions.

The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. The final candidate may be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check, Drug Screen (which includes testing for marijuana metabolites), and Fit for Duty Exam.
