As a mid‑level Engineer IV – Critical Facilities (Data Center Operations) you will be a technical resource and leader within the Global Data Center Operations Team, playing a crucial role in day‑to‑day operations and capacity planning of mission‑critical systems.ResponsibilitiesOperate independently with limited management.Act as escalation point for all facilities‑related issues.Ensure all electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety equipment operate at peak efficiency and high availability.Identify SPoF and EOL equipment and drive remediation within the facility.Drive preventative maintenance best practices using MOP and EOP.Identify root cause of system failures and present findings to Senior Leadership.Oversee multi‑year capacity/growth projects and build business cases.Be open to continuous improvement culture.QualificationsDeep understanding of chiller, chilled water, air handler technologies and electrical switchgear, generators, load banks, UPS, STS, PDU, RPP, and batteries.7+ years of relevant experience operating data centers in a technical lead role.Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering degree or equivalent experience.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience with design, engineering, commissioning, and operations of data center electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment.Expertise in data center tier rating systems and design risk factors for resiliency and availability.Experience reviewing technical drawings for conformance to industry best practices and standards.Experience operating large‑scale data center environments.Experience with Electrical Power Management Systems (EPMS) and Building Management Software (BMS).Benefits & Other InformationThis is a full‑time on‑site position requiring a first shift Monday‑Friday.
