Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Energy Storage Engineer to lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale energy storage projects. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class products, from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support design phases and engineer major components for energy storage projects.
• Identify inconsistencies in engineering drawings and improve design quality.
• Resolve errors in engineering studies and propose future solutions.
• Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts.
• Influence and collaborate with project teams on engineering tasks.
• Stay updated on project progress and manage project milestones.
• Collaborate with suppliers to integrate major equipment.
• Understand and propose solutions for permitting requirements and site design improvements.
• Travel 25% of the time for project-specific duties.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Solar/PV Engineering and/or Construction.
• Expertise in power electronics, battery storage system design, substation design, or generation tie design.
• Familiarity with energy storage technologies and safety standards.
• Ability to handle specialized technical tasks independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Preferences

• Familiarity with lithium-ion battery storage safety standards.
• Knowledge of IEC 61215, 61646, 61730 standards.
