Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.

Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and/or machines.
Basic Qualifications: Mechanical Engineer 3
- 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.- Requires a Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
- Our client requires that candidates must have an active/current DoD Confidential Personnel Clearance (PCL) to start, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Experience in assessing the adequacy of equipment for resistance to shock as well as drafting and reviewing shock extension packages is highly desired.
- Direct experience working with MIL-S-901 and performing static-g shock calculations is preferred.
- Experience with other types of stress calculations, kinematics calculations, and finite element analysis can be substituted for direct shock extension/calculation experience.
