The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a Engineer with an active Secret Clearance supporting facilities planning, infrastructure evaluation, facility condition assessments, building automation systems, and campus modernization initiatives for our federal client
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct technical assessments of mechanical, electrical, civil, and structural systems.
Evaluate facility conditions and develop recommendations for repairs and modernization.
Develop engineering designs, specifications, and technical plans.
Support building automation and energy management initiatives.
Perform Facility Condition Assessments (FCAs).
Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and stakeholder presentations.
Evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Support campus planning and space utilization studies.
Required Qualifications
Active Secret Clearance.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 7 years of experience supporting federal facility engineering projects.
Experience supporting operations and maintenance programs.
Knowledge of federal building regulations and standards.
