Description
Software Engineer 3
Newport News, VA/Hybrid
Contract
$46-$58/hr
First shift. 8 hours per day. Core hours 8am - 4pm
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.
Job expectations/duties: Software Engineer 3
a. Supporting Automated Regression testing utilizing software such as Tricentis Tosca and Opentext UFT
b. Managing, writing and executing automated test scripts supporting Siemens Teamcenter
c. Knowledge share test automation skills among team members
Special requirements specific to this position you are looking for candidates to have prior experience in: Software Engineer 3
a. Knowledge of software testing
b. Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Tricentis Tosca or Opentext UFT
c. Knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter
d. Knowledge of agile software development principles
e. Logical thinking
f. Problem solving abilities

The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range
