Pay Rate: $35.00 $36.97/hr (W2)

Position Summary:
The Engineering Technician I performs basic mechanical, electrical, and metrological tasks to support the set-up and operation of the Service Center. This entry-level role focuses on developing technical skills while assisting with routine service activities under the supervision of Service Leads and the Engineering Supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
" Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of service equipment.
" Support tracking and organization of tools, fixtures, and custom equipment.
" Assist with equipment set-up and validation activities as directed.
" Perform routine preventive maintenance and basic equipment checks.
" Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities per procedures and quality standards.
" Support assigned Service Engineering or Supervisor project tasks.
" Execute calibration and maintenance of test equipment following procedures.
" Follow standard operating procedures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
" Participate in special projects as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills:
" Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, or metrology concepts preferred.
" Strong verbal and written communication skills.
" Willingness to learn and follow technical instructions.
" Good organizational and teamwork skills.
" Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings with guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:
" Must be at least 18 years of age.
" High school diploma required.
" Associate degree in a technical field OR 1 3 years of relevant maintenance, service, or repair experience.
" Medical device experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment:
" Service repair hub environment.
" Requires strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
" May require prolonged sitting or standing.
" Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
" Travel less than 5%.
