    Job Description

Build with purpose in Brooklyn Park, MN

Join a growing manufacturing team where precision assembly meets real-world impact. Your mission: assemble engineered products safely, accurately, and efficiently—turning drawings into durable, reliable systems. If you’ve honed your skills in manufacturing, automotive, diesel, or equipment repair—or via a technical/trade program—this is where your mechanical intuition shines.

    What you’ll tackle

    • Follow engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble components and full systems.
    • Apply mechanical and manual torque tools with care, using metric measurements to meet spec.
    • Incorporate hydraulic systems and electrical components as required by the build.
    • Maintain precise electronic and paper documentation for production and quality.
    • Proactively flag assembly/quality concerns; help diagnose and implement corrective actions.
    • Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes, and hoists safely (training provided if needed).
    • Collaborate to achieve team goals and transition to minimal-supervision work once trained.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience (manufacturing, automotive, diesel, equipment repair, or similar) OR completion of a related technical/trade school program.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

    Physical capabilities & environment

    • Lift up to 35 lbs frequently.
    • Stand and work an 8-hour shift with minimal breaks.
    • Kneel, squat, crawl, bend, twist, and navigate tight/awkward spaces.
    • Climb and work at height on equipment, machines, ladders, and step stools.
    • Adapt to temperature fluctuations in the work area.
    • Perform repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and rotational movements.
    • Exercise fine motor control for precise assembly work.
    • Regularly use wrenches, drills, cutters, tie wrap guns, pneumatic and vibratory tools, and manual torque tools; torque up to 250 Newton meters or 185 foot pounds.
    • Wear required PPE: hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel toe/metatarsal footwear; dust masks as needed.
