Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: North Charleston, SC
Pay Rate: $53/hr (W-2)
Type: 12-Month Contract (with potential for extension or conversion)
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to support mission-critical projects in a dynamic engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in systems design, integration, and testing, along with strong analytical and communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects in a collaborative setting.
Apply systems engineering principles to support the design, integration, and verification of complex systems.
Develop, analyze, and maintain technical documentation, requirements, and specifications.
Support system architecture, configuration management, and lifecycle processes.
Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues across hardware and software interfaces.
Participate in system verification, validation, and test activities.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, and program management teams to ensure technical and project success.
Contribute to risk assessments, trade studies, and technical reviews.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related technical discipline.
Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools.
Experience with system verification, validation, and test planning.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Contract Length: 12 months (possibility of extension or conversion).
Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours (overtime as needed).
Travel: Minimal; may be required occasionally.
