Our client, an innovator in advanced electronics and power solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Aide to support engineering teams in the development, testing, and validation of power electronics products. This individual will play a key role in assisting with new product introduction efforts while also supporting ongoing product improvements.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the guidance of engineering staff to perform a range of technical and specialized tasks
  • Assist in the design, development, and support of power electronics and power supply products
  • Conduct product evaluations, qualification testing, and performance validation
  • Generate detailed test reports and compile documentation for new product releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product-related issues and ensure successful outcomes

Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of analog and/or power electronics circuits
  • Hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, and power supplies
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, PCB layouts, assembly drawings, and test specifications
  • Knowledge of electronic components, including ratings and applications
  • Understanding of voltage, current, and power relationships, as well as basic operational knowledge of op-amps and transistors
  • Proficiency in soldering and circuit prototyping
  • Basic programming or scripting experience is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Solid computer skills, including working with databases and technical documentation systems
