Summary:
Support data governance and engineering drawing migration within the Data and Systems Strategy department.
Ensure asset information is accurate, well-structured, and easy to find and use.
Report into Asset Information Management (AIM).
Work closely with various teams to strengthen data quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Support the planning, execution, validation, and reporting of large-scale engineering drawing migration initiatives.
Inventory, profile, and assess engineering drawing repositories to identify metadata, hierarchy, and classification gaps.
Perform metadata remediation, cleansing, and correction activities to improve drawing quality and searchability.
Execute data quality assessments and profiling activities to identify gaps, inconsistencies, duplicates, missing metadata, and classification issues within AIM.
Participate in testing and validation of searchability and usability improvements.
Facilitate discussions to resolve hierarchy, classification, and metadata mapping issues.
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of asset information turnover processes across Operations, Engineering, Projects, and AIM.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or relevant discipline within the energy sector.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality tools.
Familiarity with pipeline industry standards and best practices for data management.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication/presentation skills.
Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
Experience using and reporting from pipeline asset management systems, GIS, or engineering document management systems.
Experience with SharePoint management and using PowerApps (forms and workflows).
Experience with Power BI.
Knowledge of master data management (MDM) concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in the context of safety-critical infrastructure data.
