Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Development: Identifying and qualifying new business leads, managing the full sales cycle, and driving proposal development (RFQs/RFPs).
- Account Management: Nurturing existing client relationships to increase sales and identifying new market opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Analyzing market trends, competitors, and technical requirements to develop, grow, and align engineering service offerings.
- Technical Consulting: Using engineering expertise to articulate value propositions and present solutions to stakeholders like directors and managers.
- Relationship Management: Building, maintaining, and leveraging networks with internal teams, partners, and clients.
- Proposals & Contracts: Writing and preparing technical proposals, leading negotiations, and ensuring CRM accuracy.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Expertise: A technical degree (engineering) or equivalent experience in manufacturing/engineering services.
- Experience: Proven track record in technical sales or business development within relevant industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills (economic modeling or risk analysis).
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
