IntePros is seeking an experienced Engineering Change Management (ECM) Program Manager to support large-scale robotics and hardware system deployments. This role ownsthe end-to-end engineering change order (ECO) lifecycle, ensuring all design, manufacturing, and supply chain changes are properly documented, reviewed, and implemented. The position operates in a highly cross-functional environment and requires strong attention to detail, process rigor, and the ability to drive execution across engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams.

Why This Role Is Interesting
  • High-impact role supporting large-scale robotics and automation deployments
  • Full ownership of the engineering change lifecycle from creation through implementation
  • Exposure to hardware, supply chain, manufacturing, and field operations
  • Opportunity to drive process improvements and reduce change cycle times
  • Work across a wide range of stakeholders in a complex, fast-moving environment
Core Responsibilities
Engineering Change Management
  • Own and manage ECO lifecycle from initiation through implementation
  • Review and validate ECO documentation including change descriptions, rationale, and affected items
  • Ensure revision control integrity across PLM systems and CAD environments
  • Maintain compliance with documentation standards, class codes, and item structures
BOM & Configuration Management
  • Validate multi-level BOM structures and ensure accuracy across assemblies
  • Perform Buy-Level Traceability (BLT) audits to ensure proper change propagation
  • Manage AML accuracy, part classifications, and regional deployment attributes
  • Identify and resolve revision conflicts across concurrent changes
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, compliance, and field teams
  • Coordinate pre-release activities including compliance checks and documentation readiness
  • Support change review boards with impact assessments (cost, lead time, inventory, etc.)
  • Manage supplier change requests and external partner coordination
Operational Execution & Reporting
  • Track ECO cycle times and ensure adherence to SLA timelines
  • Monitor change backlog and drive timely resolution
  • Maintain reporting on change metrics, risks, and program health
  • Support disposition decisions (rework, scrap, use-as-is, etc.) across inventory
Process Improvement
  • Identify bottlenecks in change workflows and implement improvements
  • Develop and maintain ECM documentation, best practices, and training materials
  • Mentor team members on ECM processes and tools
Top 3 Hard Requirements
  1. ECO Lifecycle Management (PLM Systems)
    • 5+ years managing engineering change orders end-to-end (Agile PLM or similar)
    • Experience processing high volumes of ECOs across full lifecycle stages
  1. BOM Management & Traceability
    • Strong experience with multi-level BOMs and configuration management
    • Proven ability to perform BLT audits and manage complex assemblies
  1. Cross-Functional Change Impact Analysis
    • Experience assessing impacts across manufacturing, supply chain, and operations
    • Ability to coordinate approvals and drive alignment across multiple stakeholders

Nice to Have
  • Experience with CAD/PLM integrations (e.g., SolidWorks, 3DExperience)
  • Background in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and PLM-to-ERP workflows
  • Experience with supplier change processes and compliance standards (RoHS, REACH)
Key Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering change management, configuration management, or product data management
  • Strong understanding of ECO/ECR/ECN workflows and revision control
  • Experience working with electromechanical systems and manufacturing processes
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
Candidate Expectations
  • Ability to manage complex change processes with high accuracy and speed
  • Strong ownership of deliverables and timelines
  • Effective coordination across multiple technical and operational teams
  • Proactive identification and resolution of risks and bottlenecks
