Engineering / Construction Business Analyst - Remote

We are looking for a Business Analyst for a contract opportunity focused on modernization initiatives. You will gather and clarify business needs, document processes and requirements, support solution assessment, assist with testing, and collaborate with program staff, senior analysts, technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to create clear project documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, or process mapping.
• Experience supporting modernization programs or system implementation projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with UAT, requirements traceability, user stories, and functional documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements through interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research.
• Translate stakeholder input into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, and functional descriptions.
• Draft and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, SOPs, requirements summaries, and system documentation.
• Prepare UAT test cases, support test execution, document results, and communicate findings.
• Support training materials, train-the-trainer sessions, user feedback collection, and implementation activities.
