The City of Branson is seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Construction Project Manager/CAD professional to plan, organize, coordinate, and directhighly technical work in support of engineering, infrastructure, environmental development and GIS functions for public works programs and capital improvement projects.Work involves applyingscientific and technical knowledge to projects and assignments.

What You'll Do

  • Lead on-site surveying operations, from layout and staking to operating advanced survey equipment.
  • Drive design and drafting work with significant independence, creating accurate drawings, maps, and as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate CAD workflows and collaborate across departments to keep public works and engineering projects moving smoothly.
  • Support a wide range of engineering and public works projectswater, sewer, storm, streets, and moreensuring technical accuracy and compliance.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must:

  • Possess ahigh school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Have previous municipal construction inspection/observation.
  • Possess avalid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
  • Understand that work could include evenings and/or weekends.
  • Be willing to work snow duties that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March.
  • Successfully complete a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings.

Want to give your application an extra edge?While not required, the following qualifications can help you stand out in the selection process:

  • Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology.
  • Two (2) years of progressively responsible and successful full-time employment in technical engineering, to include drafting, surveying, and mapping as part of the duties.
    • Two (2) years of full-time employment in technical engineering may be substituted for formal education or training.
  • Two (2) years' experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
