Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the engineering team, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
  • Oversee electrical engineering, electrical design, power distribution, and industrial automation projects.
  • Drive the development and implementation of control systems and manufacturing solutions.
  • Support engineering operations while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of electrical engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • At least 3 years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Industrial Automation
    • Control Systems
    • Electrical Design
    • Power Distribution
    • Engineering Operations
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage technical projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a small or growing manufacturing company.
  • Hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations and engineering process improvements.

Location Requirements

  • Strong preference for candidates located in the Greater Hartford or Rocky Hill, Connecticut area.
  • Non-local candidates will be considered; however, relocation assistance is not available.
