Job Description

The Engineering Coordinator supports the engineering change process by managing change tickets, monitoring approvals, and ensuring all required documentation is complete before implementation. This role works closely with cross-functional teams, maintains accurate records in the change management system, and provides clear status reporting to support timely and compliant engineering changes.

Responsibilities

• Review active PCO and DEV tickets in Jira and follow up with cross-functional teams to obtain required approvals.
• Monitor workflow status changes in the change management process and identify delays in the approval cycle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the change management system.
• Verify that all required documentation has been completed and approved prior to implementation.
• Support implementation readiness by clearly communicating risks, overdue actions, and outstanding tasks to stakeholders.
• Prepare daily status reports and maintain detailed change tracking logs.
• Escalate delayed approvals to the Change Management Specialist when necessary.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to the engineering change process by identifying issues and suggesting enhancements.

Essential Skills

• Experience working with engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency with manufacturing process documentation and workflows.
• Ability to perform accurate and efficient data entry in Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems to support engineering or manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on experience using Jira to manage and track tickets such as PCO and DEV.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate records and verify documentation.
• Ability to monitor workflows, identify delays, and follow up effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to prepare status reports and communicate risks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Background in engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience supporting change management or engineering change control processes.
• Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration in a structured process environment.
• Interest in continuous improvement and process optimization.

Work Environment

The Engineering Coordinator works in a structured, process-driven environment that supports engineering and manufacturing operations. The role involves frequent use of Jira, ERP systems, and Excel to manage change tickets, track approvals, and maintain detailed records. Work typically follows standard business hours, with daily status reporting and coordination across multiple teams. The environment emphasizes accuracy, timely communication, and adherence to established change management procedures

This is a Contract position based out of Garden Grove, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Garden Grove,CA.
