Job Title: Engineering Coordinator

Job Overview:
Theoris is hiring for an Engineering Coordinator that will play a key role in supporting the Engineering team through a combination of administrative, technical, and cross-functional project coordination responsibilities. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate bills of materials (BOMs), assisting with project cost estimates, supporting equipment design updates and modifications, and collaborating closely with manufacturing, sales, and service teams to ensure efficient project execution. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative waste reduction and recycling solutions that support customers’ operational efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support to the Engineering Department.
  • Create, update, and maintain accurate BOM for projects in the system.
  • Analyze project documents to create cost estimates.
  • Provide support in the engineering and design of customer specific applications, existing equipment modifications, and new equipment.
  • Provide engineering support to manufacturing, sales, and service departments.
 
Requirements:
  • 3 plus years of related experience, industrial equipment preferred
  • Associate degree in mechanical engineering
  • Previous ERP experience, SAP or NetSuite preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or other 3-D modeling software.
  • Knowledge of engineering design practices
  • Must be detail-oriented, and should have the ability to work independently,
  • meet deadlines, and multitask.
  • Adaptable to new challenges, opportunities, and situations.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-motivated, can-do attitude, and team-oriented.
