Daily Schedule: Typically 40 hrs per week over 5days. Fully onsite. Work hours are 8am 4pm Monday to Friday
Job Description:
Position s Contributions to Work Group:
- Team function is to demonstrate compliance to Industry Safety Standards, and the engineer will be working alongside our design and development teams to review a range of Battery, Charger, and Powertrain components to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Work within applicable standards and regulatory requirements for electrified products across different regions.
- Conduct risk assessments, standards evaluations, and compliance reviews using established methodologies.
-Apply sound engineering judgment to provide product safety and regulatory compliance guidance.

Typical Day or Week in the Role
Typical Task Breakdown
- Requirements and risk review: Work with the team to understand product requirements and identify appropriate risk mitigations for new products.
- Engineering collaboration: Discuss requirements with engineering teams and support the development of technical reports that demonstrate compliance with applicable standards.
- Progress tracking: Monitor actions, track progress, and provide regular updates to the team.
Interaction with team:
- Work with Project Leads within the team to identify and manage tasks,
- Work closely with design and development teams to review battery, charger, and powertrain systems, with a focus on demonstrating compliance with industry safety standards
- Ensure product requirements are clearly understood and fully met
Team Structure
- Currently a team of 10, you will be working alongside our compliance leads in support of a range of products.
- Engaging directly with our global team of design and development engineers
Work environment:
- Mainly office based, but with opportunities to oversee product testing and assembly. Safety Shoes will be required when over seeing testing, expected to be less than 20% of working time.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: minimum 5 years
- Degree requirement: Bachelors Degree, preferably Electrical Engineering, No 2 year degrees. Masters Degree with 3 years experience.
