Job Purpose
This position will support our ExpertFinish team as a Summer Intern and will be based in Bath, NY. This is a paid, full-time Internship. The selected candidate will report to the Plant Manager and will support multiple departments at the facility.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Learn the pre-finish process for our siding products.
Gain exposure to one or more of the following areas of operation:
Operations
Quality
Environmental, Health & Safety
Maintenance & Reliability
Develop or assist in the development of plant projects.
Assist in the creation of site SOPs, JSAs and Training Program
Assist with daily tracking of Quality, Safety and Operations metrics and report creation.
Assist in the analysis and evaluation of quarantined product to determine disposition in accordance with product standards.
Assist in recording testing and inspection results, inputting into appropriate database or spreadsheets. Identify and respond to statistical trends or non-conforming process measures and test values.
Assist in monitoring and recording consumption and inventory of raw materials (wax, resin, etc.).
Assist in process and product tests/trials as assigned and compile, analyze, and report trial test results as required.
Lead site audit program during internship.
Be pro-active in identifying and performing other tasks to maintain and improve safety, quality, and environmental performance.
Participate in mentoring opportunities from plant management staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
