What You'll Do

As the Engineering Intern at Enstall, you will be supporting the Product Development & Innovation Team and working closely within the Testing and Certification Team and the Engineering Services Team. Your core responsibilities will include assisting in product testing, lab maintenance, and engineering documentation support to help in the qualification of new products and product sustaining engineering, which includes the following:

• Design, fabricate and assemble custom test equipment and fixtures (SolidWorks, Prototype)
• Process Engineering Change Requests and Orders (SolidWorks Vault)
• Support product testing, certification and module compatibility testing efforts
• Catalog and sort test fixtures
• Collect and analyze test results (excel, word)
• Compose test reports (powerpoint)
• Optimize lab layout and equipment set-up
• Additional duties, as assigned

This is a short-term (summer) internship, expected to last for approximately 12 weeks.

What You'll Bring

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Motivated and organized. Ability to work independently and/or as part of the team
• 1+ years of engineering related schoolwork (MECHANICAL, CIVIL, MATERIALS, etc.)
• Machining and fabrication experience (woodworking, hand tools, power tools, mill, etc.)

Where You'll Be Located

This position will be based in Hayward, CA and is an in-person position.

What We’ll Offer

We offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, education and location. We anticipate the compensation for this position to be between $20 and $25 per hour.
