Atakapa Services, LLC. (A Waggoner Company) is hiring an Engineering Intern Technician for our Baton Rouge office. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week, with the potential to transition into a full-time role upon graduation.

Atakapa Services, LLC. (A Waggoner Company) specializes in evaluating, maintaining and designing rehabilitation methods for sanitary sewer and storm drain infrastructure. We work with municipalities, wastewater utility contractors and engineering firms to inspect, clean, and rehabilitate their underground wastewater and drainage infrastructure. We provide a comprehensive range of services and reports to help our clients address the most complex sewer and storm drain operation and maintenance problems.

Responsibilities

The primary role of the Engineering Intern Technician will be to provide administrative and technical support for field operations. This role supports our continued growth and offers the opportunity to work on (or support) meaningful projects alongside a collaborative, experienced team. You'll have the chance to build your career while contributing to impactful solutions across the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar field
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented team player with the ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history
