This role owns end to end engineering outcomes across large scale enterprise digital platforms and operational technology, spanning customer facing channels, core operational systems, workforce platforms, and mission critical back office environments. The leader integrates product engineering, platform modernization, AI enabled productivity, and operational resilience into a single, outcome oriented enterprise delivery model-built for scale, regulatory requirements, and 24×7 operations. 15-20 years of experience in enterprise software engineering and large scale technology delivery 10-12+ years in senior leadership roles leading multi domain engineering organizations 8-10 years operating in mission critical, high availability, and regulated environments such as transportation, logistics, airlines, financial services, utilities, healthcare, or large consumer/employee digital platforms-where downtime directly impacts customers and operations Core Responsibilities

Enterprise Engineering Leadership Provide engineering leadership across multiple enterprise platforms and act as the integrator across product engineering, platform engineering, SRE, and reliability teams, eliminating silos between "build" and "run" Partner closely with Infrastructure, Reliability, and Operations leaders to establish: Shared observability and telemetry standards Predictable, auditable, and reversible change practices Proactive risk identification and mitigation Operate with the mindset that engineering and operations function as a single system, particularly in environments where business impact from failure is immediate and visible Lead AI driven engineering to deliver measurable, business and operational outcomes, not disconnected proofs of concept or tool level gains Platform & Modernization Stewardship Lead large scale, multi year modernization initiatives, including: Legacy to cloud native transformation (AWS aligned) API, integration, and domain platform modernization Platform engineering, developer experience (DevEx), and AI enabled engineering evolution Balance modernization velocity with operational continuity, recognizing enterprise environments with low tolerance for uncontrolled disruption Make pragmatic trade offs between refactor, rebuild, and stabilize-anchored in business risk and operational realities rather than technology fashion Critical Capabilities
