This roleis responsible forprofitable portfolio development across engineering lines-driven by technicalexpertise disciplined underwriting and strategic client engagement.
Job Description Underwrite Engineering Lines and Builders Risk CAREAR Electronic Equipment CPMCPE Machinery Breakdown ALOPDSU within delegated authority.
Negotiate terms conditions and pricing to ensure sustainable profitability.
Build and maintain strong broker and client relationships represent the company at meetings and industry events.
Identify new business opportunities and support growth strategies.
Manage and monitor portfolio performance taking corrective actions when needed.
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines pricing tools and governance standards.
Work collaboratively in a global team.
Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to product development and market strategies.
Qualifications and Experience 8 years in Engineering Lines and Builders Risk underwriting.
Deep expertise in CAREAR projects CPECPM DSU and MBRs.
Proven ability to analyze complex risks and make sound underwriting decisions.
Strong negotiation communication and relationship-building skills ideally with a network on the U.S. West Coast.
Experience with large industrial clients and multinational programs highly desirable.
Compensation The base salary range for this position is150000-250000 plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus.Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including experience education and location.
