The Engineering/Maintenance Technician I Investigates building systems and documents operational data. Prepares recommendations for system improvements, maintenance programs and evaluations. Performs as technical leader on installations and upgrades to Facilities systems. This work is performed under the general supervision of the Engineering Project Manager and under the technical oversight of engineers.

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21236 Hours: Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekdays
Requirements/Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. • 5 years of related work experience. • Advanced current knowledge of seven specialties listed below, as well as the relevant local, state, federal, and regulatory stipulations and codes
• Fire Detection System • Emergency Power Distribution • Fire Protection System • Plumbing • Air/Water Balancing • Domestic water • Chilled Water/Heating Water • Digital Controls and Monitoring • Pneumatic Tube System • High Voltage Certified Maintenance • Steam Distribution • High Voltage Switching • Water Treatment • Medical Gas • Refrigeration • Generator • Automatic Transfer Schemes • Instrumentation, Metering • Data Acquisition • Sanitary • Power Logic System • Continuum/StruxureWare • PCL Programming • Metasys • Siemens • Towline/conveying systems • Specialized water systems (ie RO/DI)

Salary Range: Minimum $28.90/hour - Maximum $47.71/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
