Job Details

The Engineering Manager – Advanced Systems leads a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for developing complete vehicle integration solutions for OEM customers. This role combines engineering leadership, systems integration, technical consulting, and customer relationship management to deliver innovative solutions utilizing hydraulic, electrical, controls, software, and advanced vehicle technologies.

Working closely with customers and internal engineering teams, you'll lead projects from concept through prototype development, validation, customer demonstrations, and production implementation while ensuring quality, performance, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams including hydraulics, electrical, controls, software, systems engineers, technicians, and project managers
Serve as the primary technical interface between customers and internal engineering teams
Partner with OEM customers to understand application requirements and develop complete system-level solutions
Lead engineering efforts from concept development through prototype, validation, testing, and production launch
Coordinate vehicle integration activities utilizing hydraulic, electronic, controls, and software technologies
Oversee prototype builds, system validation, and customer demonstrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives
Present technical concepts and engineering solutions directly to customers and executive stakeholders
Support business development efforts by identifying technical opportunities and strengthening customer relationships
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and product development
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related Engineering discipline
Progressive engineering leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams
Strong customer-facing engineering experience
Experience leading complex engineering projects from concept through production
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
Strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to lead technical discussions with both customers and internal engineering teams
Preferred
Tier 1 automotive or mobile equipment supplier experience
Electrohydraulic or fluid power systems experience
Mobile equipment or off-highway vehicle experience
Experience with construction, agriculture, mining, forestry, utility, or specialty vehicles
Electrification and advanced vehicle systems experience
Mobile vehicle systems integration experience
Experience leading hydraulics, controls, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams
Prototype development and validation experience
Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies
