We are recruiting an Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary engineering team for a well-established manufacturer of high-performance industrial equipment. This is a hands-on leadership role focused primarily on mechanical engineering, product design, and R&D, while overseeing a team of Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, and Quality Engineers.
The ideal candidate is a strong mechanical engineering leader with experience designing and manufacturing industrial equipment from concept through production. While exposure to electric motors is a plus, it is not required.
Position Offers
Up to $165K salary depending on experience. If your target compensation is higher, we still encourage you to apply—we may be able to request adjustments based on experience and market conditions.

Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of five engineers across mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality disciplines
Drive mechanical product development from concept, design, prototyping, testing, and production release
Provide hands-on engineering support, technical troubleshooting, and design guidance
Lead R&D initiatives and continuous product improvement efforts
Partner with manufacturing to optimize designs for manufacturability, quality, and cost
Establish engineering standards, documentation practices, and department processes
Support customers, sales, vendors, and cross-functional teams with technical expertise
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
Strong background in mechanical product design and manufacturing within an industrial environment
Hands-on experience taking products from concept through commercialization
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Experience with electric motors preferred
