ENGINEERING MANAGER

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing the operations of the Engineering Division and civil, transportation and drainage infrastructure projects. This position reports to the Engineering Services Director/City Engineer.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years' experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The work is light work, which requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force to move objects. Work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, or walking. The employee uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, distinguishes between shades of color, and utilizes the sense of smell.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is typically performed in various indoor and outdoor environments, occasionally in cold, hot, or inclement weather. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, and grease. Work requires the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, gloves, etc.
