Job Description

Overview:
Seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of Software Engineers developing software, firmware, and embedded technology solutions. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver innovative connected products and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
  • Drive software, firmware, and embedded systems development initiatives.
  • Partner with Product, UX/UI, QA, Marketing, and Engineering teams to deliver projects on time.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions and development plans.
  • Establish and improve development processes, coding standards, and best practices.
  • Remove project roadblocks, manage risks, and support successful product launches.
  • Coordinate development efforts across global teams.
  • Support production issues, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-5 years of engineering leadership or management experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience with C++, C#, or Java.
  • Experience with Python or JavaScript and UI application development.
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, MCU, and ARM-based platforms.
  • Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and technical documentation.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver complex technical projects.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Comfortable collaborating across multiple time zones.
  • Available to support critical production issues when necessary.
