We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead a closed die forging engineering department. In this critical role, you will oversee a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, managing projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize forging processes and tooling design. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of impression die hot forging, expertise in simulation software like DEFORM, and a proven track record of leadership and problem -solving.

Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>- Leadership & Team Management: <\/span><\/b>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high -performing work environment.
<\/li> - Delegate tasks effectively, manage work schedules, and conduct performance evaluations.
<\/li> - Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members on forging processes, tooling design, and problem resolution.
<\/li> - Process Optimization: <\/span><\/b>Analyze production activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
<\/li> - Evaluate and optimize existing forging processes and tooling designs to reduce costs and improve product quality.
<\/li> - Lead continuous improvement initiatives, applying lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
<\/li> - Tooling Design & Simulation: <\/span><\/b>Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new forging and support tooling.
<\/li> - Utilize DEFORM and other simulation software to analyze material flow, predict potential issues, and optimize tooling performance.
<\/li> - Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement corrective actions to ensure production efficiency and product quality.
<\/li> - Collaboration & Communication: <\/span><\/b>Collaborate effectively with cross -functional teams, including production, quality, purchasing, and sales.
<\/li> - Work closely with vendors and suppliers to manage service contracts and ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
<\/li> - Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to communicate project updates, analysis findings, and improvement recommendations.

Requirements<\/h3>
Qualifications:<\/b>
<\/p>- Education:<\/b> <\/span>Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, or Manufacturing preferred) or equivalent experience.
<\/li> - Experience:<\/b> <\/span>7+ years of experience in a similar engineering management role within a closed die forging environment.
<\/li> - Technical Skills: <\/span><\/b>Extensive knowledge of impression die hot forging processes, materials, and tooling.
<\/li> - Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and DEFORM simulation software.
<\/li> - Experience with toolpath generation, flow simulation, and surfacing software is a plus.
<\/li> - Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
<\/li> - Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: <\/span><\/b>Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high -performing engineering teams.
