Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers while establishing priorities and supporting professional growth.
  • Provide technical leadership to manufacturing operations and ensure engineering resources effectively support production goals.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives focused on improving yield, throughput, efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
  • Partner with operations teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause investigations related to process deviations, equipment issues, and quality concerns.
  • Oversee raw material qualification, supplier technical engagement, and material performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with quality, supply chain, operations, EHS, and R&D teams to ensure reliable production and consistent product quality.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven decision-making methodologies.
  • Support and lead capital projects, including equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility expansion activities.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support process safety programs, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Provide technical expertise for new product introductions, process scale-up activities, and technology transfers.
  • Maintain engineering standards, documentation, and knowledge management practices across the site.

Profile

  • 8+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Prior leadership experience managing engineers or technical teams.
  • Strong background in process engineering, troubleshooting, and process improvement.
  • Experience supporting complex manufacturing operations and solving technical challenges.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with raw material qualification, supplier interaction, and manufacturing quality requirements.
  • Exposure to capital projects, equipment implementation, and process technology improvements.
  • Strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and inspire technical teams.
  • Experience in high-purity chemical or semiconductor-related manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
