Duties:
Manage and mentor a team of 6-8 engineers
Manage department workload planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and project goals
Oversee employee personnel matters – includes hiring, performance evaluations, setting individual goals, and professional development
Review and approve design work, engineering analyses, and technical documentation
Provide technical guidance to resolve complex design and manufacturing challenges
Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, quality, and engineering productivity
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar discipline
8+ years of mechanical design and/or product development experience
2+ years of engineering management experience
Heat transfer and/or HVAC equipment experience a big plus
