Engineering Manager – Injection Molding
Position Summary
The Engineering Manager leads manufacturing engineering activities to ensure products meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. This role manages new product introductions, drives process improvements, and provides technical and people leadership across engineering, production, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the manufacturing engineering team
- Oversee manufacturing processes from concept through production
- Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams
- Review customer requirements, estimates, tooling, and production readiness
- Support implementation of new equipment, automation, and technologies
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, AS9100, ISO 14001, and company standards
Qualifications
- BS/BA degree required
- Injection Molding Experience Required
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM and engineering tools
- Experience with quality management systems and ISO standards
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and project management skills
